The odds of winning the boat with 1 ticket is 1 in 44,000. This increases to 1 in 8,800 with 5 tickets, or 1 in 2,200 if you have 2o tickets. To put this into perspective, these odds are 102 times higher than playing the lottery!

The boat in the photos is one we recently made and the prize will be very similar. We’ll build the boat especially for the winner after the prize draw has taken place, and the winner can choose from a range of design options making it unique to them. This includes the colour palette, fixtures & fittings, worktop surfaces, flooring, cupboard facing designs, tile options and the cherry on top… the boat’s name!

A 1-year Canal & River Trust boat licence is included with the prize. This means you can moor the boat for FREE (on a continuous cruising basis) along any public stretch of the canals & rivers that the CRT manages. We will offer our knowledge and guidance to the winner as we’ve cruised the majority of the UK waterways network! We firmly believe that continuous cruising is the most fulfilling and exciting way to experience the boating lifestyle! Alternatively, there are plenty of long-term residential moorings available across the country to suit a range of budgets (and are generally much cheaper than rent!). These can be found at marinas, boatyards and in towns/cities, should the winner wish to take up a more permanent location.

We will declare a guaranteed draw once we have reached our minimum sales target. We work out this by the trajectory of sales instead of a set minimum number of orders. This means like our other successful competitions, we had declared a “Guaranteed draw” once we are happy. So far in the last year we have given away over £300,000 worth of prizes without ever needing to cancel a competition! In the unlikely event that we don’t sell enough tickets to cover the cost of the boat build, then we may need to cancel the competition. If we decide to do this, we will refund all ticket purchases (including payment fees)so there is absolutely no risk to you in taking part. We are however confident the competition will go ahead as planned, as we’ve had amazing feedback and support so far!

The total amount of tickets on sale for the boat competition is limited to 44,000.

The easiest way to enter the competition is to answer the simple competition question and buy tickets online. Entrants may also enter the competition using the free postal entry method.

The number of entries is limited to 75 per person.

Having lived on boats for years, we have experienced the magic and freedom that liveaboard boating brings. The competition is open to all residents of the UK and Rebuplic of Ireland aged 18 and over.
